Greenwood Project is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that prepares Black and Latino college students for careers in financial services through early exposure, rigorous training, and coaching, placing scholars in competitive summer internships with corporate partners. Its name honors the Greenwood community of Tulsa, Oklahoma, known as 'Black Wall Street,' which was destroyed in the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre.
