Strathcona Resources Ltd. is a Canadian pure-play heavy oil producer with operations focused on thermal oil (SAGD) and enhanced oil recovery, concentrated in the Cold Lake and Lloydminster regions of Alberta and Saskatchewan. Backed by principal investor Waterous Energy Fund, the company went public in 2023 via an all-share acquisition of Pipestone Energy Corp.
