As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee the successful implementation of mechanical and electrical construction projects, involving new installations and upgrades for client infrastructures. Our operations include in-house projects and management as a general contractor.

- Collaborate with in-house trades, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures to maintain a safe working environment and ensure project compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the estimating process to ensure accurate competitive pricing of construction projects. Accurate work that is completed to meet stringent deadlines is necessary.
- Conduct regular project reviews and status updates, addressing any issues or risks proactively and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Financial Management:
- Estimate the new opportunities to help with finalizing quotes including material and labour hours.
- Collaborate with Accounting to develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and control measures.
- Review and approve project expenses, invoices, and change orders, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and financial regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance department to provide accurate and timely financial reports, forecasts, and projections.
- Ensure effective contract management, including negotiation, review, and administration of contracts and subcontracts.
Post Construction Management:
- Conduct project closeout activities, including documentation, final inspections, and client handover.
- Provide post-construction support to clients, addressing any warranty claims or issues promptly and effectively.
- Foster long-term client relationships, seeking opportunities for repeat business and referrals.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth project transition and integration into ongoing operations.
- Perform other duties assigned by the management team.
Requirements and Skills:
- 5-10 years of leading Mechanical Installation Experience along with an HVAC Journeyman ticket or 3-5 years of installation experience with P. Eng or CET designation.
- Familiarity with construction management software packages.
