What You Will Do
- Perform TIG welding to refurbish aircraft engine components to meet quality standards.
- Support the cell operations in benching, blasting, brazing, blending, polishing and cold working processes.
- Potential to be trained on operating new Automation Machines.
- Attend EH&S training programs and takes personal responsibility to ensure safety adherence.
- Support the continuous improvement programs, CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence) activities.
Qualifications You Must Have
- GCE ’O’ Level or NITEC in Precision, Aerospace, Mechanical or relevant disciplines.
- 2 years relevant experience in TIG welding.
- Comfortable to learn new welding methodology.
- Ability to understand and follow technical drawing and standard operation procedures (SOP).
- Meticulous with an eye for details and adopts a hands-on approach.
- Willing to work on rotating shifts (Day & Night) and overtime on need basis.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Familiar with the relevant air worthiness and regulatory agencies requirements.
- Relevant aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering experience.
- Attended external trainings with welding certification.
