Overnight Veterinary Technician

VCA Northview Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic veterinary technician to join our Overnight care team full time!

Overnight Veterinary Technician Duties:

• Ensure hospitalized patients are provided gold standard medical care
• Recognize normal and abnormal vitals and respond appropriately
• Proficiency with medical math to ensure correct dosages
• Venipuncture / IVC placement when needed
• Able to stay on task and work independently
• Keeping an open and collaborative line of communication flowing by rounding with the daytime team to ensure smooth transition of cases
• Participation in monthly technician meetings that allows time for collaboration, team building, and new protocol reviews
• Providing compassionate care for all patients

**This role is suited for the experienced licensed or license eligible technician who is confident and well-rounded in their skills.

Potential Schedule: Full-time - Tue/Wed/Thur 7pm-7am

Compensation: The pay range or this position is $21-$30/hr
