MACHINE OPERATOR

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate DP Polishing and Conventional Polishing machines according to standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Perform machine setup, loading/unloading of materials, and basic machine adjustments as required.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools such as Digimatic calipers, micrometers, and other inspection instruments.
• Identify and segregate defective products and report quality issues or machine abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Follow established quality, safety, and 5S procedures.
• Meet required production targets while maintaining product quality.
• Perform other production-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Education & Experience

• Vocational/Technical graduate, preferably with technical knowledge in Machining, Manufacturing, or related fields.
• Knowledge of basic machining principles and precision measurement.
• With experience in manufacturing, machine operation, and/or quality inspection is preferred.
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as Digimatic caliper and micrometer is an advantage.
• Male applicants preferred/required if supported by the position's physical or operational requirements.

• Basic knowledge of machine operation and polishing processes

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to identify product defects

• Physically capable of performing production tasks

Working Conditions

• 100% onsite work
• May be required to work on rest days/Sundays depending on production requirements and company scheduling.
• Requires prolonged standing during working hours.
• May involve repetitive production and inspection activities.
• Must be able to follow required safety procedures and production standards.
