Healthcare Security Officer – Danbury, CT Pay: $18.50/hour

Schedule:

• Monday: 14:00–19:00
• Tuesday: 07:00–19:00
• Wednesday: 07:00–19:00
• Thursday: 10:30–20:30

We’re looking for a professional, reliable Healthcare Security Officer to join our team in Danbury, CT. In this role, you help protect patients, visitors, and staff, and support a safe, calm environment in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Patrol facility and monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations
• Enforce facility rules, regulations, and access control procedures
• Complete clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Work closely with hospital/clinic staff and follow site-specific post orders
• Support health and safety practices in line with Securitas policies (Source: Group Health and Safety Policy)

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to pass background check and any required licensing
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and respond quickly in emergencies
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Prior security, military, law enforcement, or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required; training will be provided (Source: Group Health and Safety Policy – site-specific training and work instructions)
