IT Manager

Company Description

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on IT Manager to lead our technology infrastructure and support the development of a secure, reliable and scalable digital payments platform.

Job Description

• Manage IT infrastructure, systems and technology operations
• Ensure the availability, performance and security of critical fintech systems
• Manage cloud infrastructure, servers, networks, databases and related IT environments
• Coordinate with software engineers and external technology providers
• Oversee integrations with banks, payment providers, APIs and other third-party systems
• Establish backup, disaster recovery and business continuity procedures
• Implement IT security policies, access controls and system monitoring
• Work closely with the CISO on cybersecurity, vulnerability management and incident response
• Manage user access, authentication and privileged-access procedures
• Monitor system performance, uptime and technical incidents
• Establish IT policies, documentation, procedures and internal controls
• Manage technology vendors, licenses, infrastructure contracts and IT budgets
• Support the deployment and maintenance of mobile app & digital wallet platform
• Coordinate with Operations, Compliance and Finance to ensure technology supports regulatory and operational requirements
• Participate in technology risk assessments and internal/external IT audits

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant IT experience, preferably within fintech, banking, payments or financial services
• Previous experience managing IT infrastructure or technology operations
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, databases and system administration
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and IT security controls
• Experience with APIs and third-party system integrations
• Understanding of backup, disaster recovery and business continuity
• Familiarity with high-availability and business-critical systems
• Strong vendor and project management capabilities
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with software engineering and cybersecurity teams
• Strong documentation and process-building capabilities
• Arabic & English required; French is a plus
