About the job
As a Field Application Engineer, you will be responsible for enabling customers to use Nordic technology in a variety of exciting applications. You will be a key technical resource for our internal and external teams.
Key responsibilities
- Create and present Nordic Semiconductor’s value proposition
- Understand the customer applications and use cases
- Work with Regional Sales Managers, distributors, and representatives to design-in Nordic solutions at customers
- Respond to technical inquiries and provide solutions in a timely manner
- Technical expert in the Sales team
- Developing and owning key technical relationships with customers.
Qualification and skills
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
- Minimum 4 years of embedded software development experience with an understanding of embedded hardware including digital and analog circuits
- Experience with ARM microcontrollers Minimum 2 years of successfully supporting customer product development
- Experience working with wireless protocols such as Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi, Thread, Zigbee, and cellular technologies
- Experience working with software to interface IoT devices with cloud software services such as AWS and Azure.

- Strong customer communication skills in English, written and spoken
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments,
