Employer description
Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.
We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.
We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.
If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
About the Role:
The Group Product Manager, Edge Computing is responsible for defining and delivering Crusoe's edge computing product strategy, built on Crusoe Spark™ modular AI data centers. You'll own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for edge offerings end to end, from hardware configurations to the software stack, bringing real-time, low-latency AI to industries like public sector, manufacturing, autonomous vehicles, and smart cities.
You will define how customers deploy and consume AI infrastructure at the edge, translating emerging low-latency AI workload requirements into scalable, reliable, and economically efficient products. The role operates at the intersection of hardware, software, energy, and product strategy, ensuring that edge investments across modular data center design, compute platforms, and the cloud control plane translate into customer value and business outcomes.
The Group Product Manager, Edge Computing collaborates closely with engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, business operations, and go-to-market teams to deliver edge solutions for customers running demanding AI workloads outside the traditional data center.
What You'll Be Working On:
- Define and execute the product vision and strategy for Crusoe's Edge Computing offerings, based on Crusoe Spark™ modular AI data centers
- Own the full product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life, across both hardware and software solutions at the edge
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify new opportunities and validate product concepts
- Translate product strategy into a detailed roadmap, user stories, and feature requirements spanning hardware configurations, software stack, and connectivity
- Partner with engineering, infrastructure, manufacturing, business operations, and go-to-market teams to ensure successful product development and launch
- Define pricing and packaging models that balance deployment economics, customer flexibility, and long-term infrastructure returns
- Track and analyze key product metrics to inform decisions and measure product success
- Develop executive-level narratives and decision materials that inform investment, capacity planning, and product direction
- Serve as the internal and external evangelist for Crusoe's Edge Computing products, presenting to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Product management experience delivering hardware, software, or platform products in the edge computing or cloud infrastructure space
- A proven track record of launching and scaling B2B technical products from concept to market
- Strong technical understanding of edge computing architectures, including hardware (servers, storage, networking), software (containerization, virtualization, control plane as part of a cloud infrastructure), and connectivity
- Experience working across hardware and software boundaries, translating infrastructure capabilities into customer-facing products
- Ability to balance technical tradeoffs, customer requirements, and infrastructure economics when making product decisions
- Experience collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and GTM teams to deliver complex infrastructure products
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences and connect them to customer and business outcomes
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment
Bonus Points
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure, including training, inference, and MLOps
- Prior experience in the energy sector or with sustainable technology
- Hands-on experience with hardware design and manufacturing processes
- Experience with a cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their edge/distributed cloud products, or a deep understanding of cloud-native principles
