Investment Data Analyst Intern

What will you be doing?

• Performing daily investment data controls within the Group’s financial assets database (Clearwater), with support from control managers
• Supporting reconciliations and reviews of cash suspense accounts, debtors and creditors balances, stock and cash reconciliations, as well as investment data attribute controls
• Using investment knowledge to support the review, interpretation and validation of data quality with internal and external stakeholders
• Cooperating with the provider of Aviva Group’s financial assets database (Clearwater)
• Supporting audit-related activities and working with auditors when required
• Participating in finance and data-related projects based on business needs
• Assisting the team with other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned by the manager

## What are we looking for?

• A student or graduate in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Mathematics or a related field
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Interest in investments, financial markets and financial data
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large sets of data
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Availability for 3-4 days per week
