POSITION PURPOSE:
The Vice President will lead the Accounting function, overseeing all core accounting operations while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights, strengthen internal controls, and support strategic decision-making. The Vice President will also drive the development of accounting policies and processes, lead month-end and year-end close, and build and mentor a high-performing team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)

ABOUT YOU:
- Ability to create and lead teams with the capability to inspire and guide a finance team including building new processes and procedures working across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication and people skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- A deep understanding of operational processes and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex financial information, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to drive decision-making.
- Strong understanding of real estate accounting and reporting systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Actual base salary considers several factors including but not limited to geography, job-related knowledge, experience, and budget. The start of the salary range is typically associated with the minimum experience required. The base pay is one part of the total compensation package. This role is eligible for bonus pay in addition to base salary. The anticipated base salary range for the position in Los Angeles, CA is $205,000 - $250,000.
