About The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will design, support, and improve moderate to high complexity ATP and ESS aerospace test systems, while contributing to test software development, validation activities, and process improvements. You will also play a key role in troubleshooting complex issues, supporting FAT and SAT activities, and driving the modernization and standardization of our test platforms.
What You Will Do:
- Design, support, improve, and test moderate to high complexity ATP and ESS aerospace test systems.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of test and software projects from start to finish.
- Define, review, and estimate test system requirements, test strategies, and new test software needs.
- Lead advanced software engineering and test system development projects, ensuring quality, reliability, and on-time delivery.
- Establish and maintain software development standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex software and test system issues and implement effective technical solutions.
- Support FAT, SAT, deployment, and transfer of technical ownership for ATP and ESS systems.
- Analyze test data, monitor station performance, and support validation activities such as MSA, Gage R&R, Cp/Cpk, Pp/Ppk, and Yield analysis.
- Drive modernization of legacy test platforms through automation and standardization initiatives.
- Train, mentor, and support technicians, engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful system use and continuous improvement.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
- More than 4 years of proven experience in a relevant industry
- Expert knowledge of LabVIEW
- Solid knowledge of NI TestStand
- Solid knowledge of Python
- Understanding of aerospace quality systems and production requirements.
- Understanding software configuration management, release control and deployment processes.
- Experience working with test databases and manufacturing systems.
- Solid knowledge of phases and processes required for successfully introducing new products into production
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English and Polish (written and spoken)
- Would be an advantage:
- Experience with NI VeriStand and Custom Device development.
- Experience coordinating FAT and SAT activities.
- Knowledge of NI LabVIEW Actor Framework
- Knowledge of Python Flask Framework
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira/ Bitbucket / Bamboo)
- Experience with aerospace communication protocols including MIL-STD-1553 and ARINC-429.
