Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain API-driven solutions for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC).

· Develop and enhance integrations using SCAPI, OCAPI, REST APIs, and web services.

· Collaborate with Full Stack Developers to define and implement BFF (Backend for Frontend) services supporting headless storefront experiences.

· Build reusable APIs and integration services to support commerce, customer, product, pricing, inventory, and checkout capabilities.

· Develop and maintain Service Framework integrations with enterprise and third-party systems.

· Troubleshoot and resolve API, integration, and application issues across development and production environments.

· Participate in solution design discussions and contribute to API architecture and integration best practices.

· Support release activities, deployment validation, and post-release monitoring.

· Ensure API solutions meet security, scalability, performance, and maintainability standards.

· Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and integration design artifacts.

Required Skills & Experience

· 4+ years of experience in API development and integration engineering.

· 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) development experience.

· Strong experience with SCAPI and OCAPI development.

· Experience designing and developing REST APIs and web services.

· Strong understanding of API security, OAuth, authentication, and authorization concepts.

· Experience with JavaScript and backend integration development.

· Experience working with SFCC Service Framework.

· Experience designing reusable API services and integration patterns.

· Understanding of headless commerce and composable architecture principles.

· Experience integrating SFCC with enterprise and third-party systems.

· Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

· Fraud prevention platforms (Forter or similar)

· Tax integrations (Vertex or similar)

· Shipping and fulfilment integrations

· Retail and omnichannel commerce experience
