In this role, you will lead end-to-end import and export operations, meticulously managing customs clearance, regulatory compliance, and financial workflows. You will orchestrate domestic and international freight movements across all transport modes, optimizing logistics costs while maintaining strict corporate service standards. Additionally, you will hold complete operational oversight of all registration, notification, and compliance procedures within the Ministry of Health Product Tracking System (ÜTS).
What you will do
- Manage end-to-end import and export workflows, ensuring full compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and corporate policies.
- Oversee customs clearance financial workflows, including duty calculations, tax assessments, duty payments, and vendor invoice reconciliations.
- Coordinate and execute domestic and international freight operations (road, ocean, air, and multimodal), optimizing route selection, freight rates, and delivery lead times.
- Direct all product registrations, notifications, document submissions, and lifecycle tracking within the Ministry of Health ÜTS platform in compliance with medical device regulations.
- Build, evaluate, and manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carrier networks, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Prepare and audit shipping documents including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Bills of Lading, and Regulatory Import/Export Permits.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for logistics operations, identify supply chain bottlenecks, and implement continuous process improvements.
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience managing international logistics, customs clearance processes, and import/export operations.
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English for daily cross-border communication and vendor management.
- Strong analytical skills, structured problem-solving capabilities, and high attention to detail in documentation.
Preferred:
- Proven practical experience with the Ministry of Health Product Tracking System (ÜTS) and familiarity with medical device/healthcare regulatory compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of international trade terms (Incoterms), customs duty structure, payment terms (L/C, CAD, etc.), and freight carrier contract management.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise resource planning systems (ERP, such as SAP or JD Edwards) and Microsoft Office Suite.
