Are you a strategic enterprise seller who thrives on building executive relationships and uncovering growth opportunities in complex organizations?
Do you enjoy helping customers leverage trusted content, data, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions to drive meaningful business outcomes and long-term transformation?
About our Team
Nexis® Solutions, as part of LexisNexis and the global RELX corporate family, connects customers to market-leading data through a flexible suite of scalable solutions, including our award-winning, flagship Nexis® research platform. By enabling fast access to a vast universe of enriched data with intelligent technologies, Nexis Solutions empowers business, media, non-profit, government and academic organizations worldwide to quickly discover actionable insights that enable confident, performance-driving decisions.
About the Role
We are seeking a Strategic Enterprise Relationship Manager to own and strengthen high-priority enterprise relationships within Nexis Solutions. In this role, you will develop trusted executive relationships, build deep account understanding, support adoption and value realization, and help customers achieve measurable business outcomes through long-term strategic partnerships.
You will manage complex enterprise relationships, identify areas for growth, orchestrate internal resources, and position Nexis as a valued long-term partner across key market segments.
Responsibilities
- Own a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts, with accountability for revenue retention, account health, executive engagement, account strategy, opportunity identification, and long-term customer value.
- Build trusted relationships with senior executives and decision makers, including C-suite leaders, business unit leaders, CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, AI leaders, data leaders, strategy leaders, research leaders, communications leaders, and procurement stakeholders.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans that identify customer priorities, stakeholder maps, whitespace, competitive threats, AI/data use cases, adoption needs, expansion opportunities, and multi-year growth paths.
- Understand customer needs and use cases, helping customers see how trusted content, data, APIs, and AI-enabled workflows can improve decision-making, productivity, risk management, competitive intelligence, and business performance.
- Lead consultative, value-based account conversations that connect customer priorities to measurable business outcomes and long-term value.
- Identify and shape expansion opportunities across business units, functions, geographies, platforms, workflows, and stakeholder groups, partnering with internal teams to advance the most strategic opportunities.
- Monitor competitive threats, incumbent providers, emerging AI and data vendors, point solutions, and internal-build alternatives, while protecting account position and clearly articulating Nexis’ differentiated value.
- Lead renewal and account-level commercial discussions, including multi-year agreements, pricing and value conversations, and long-term partnership planning.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience owning and growing complex enterprise customer relationships in a strategic account management, enterprise relationship management, or commercially accountable customer success role.
- Proven ability to protect recurring revenue, strengthen account health, improve adoption and value realization, engage executive stakeholders, mitigate renewal risk, and identify growth opportunities within large, complex customer relationships.
- Demonstrated success engaging senior executives and complex buying committees across business, technology, data, strategy, procurement, and operational functions.
- Experience managing enterprise relationships beyond renewal administration, including account planning, stakeholder mapping, adoption improvement, risk mitigation, value realization, executive engagement, and opportunity identification.
- Strong consultative relationship-management skills, with the ability to connect customer business priorities to differentiated solutions and measurable outcomes.
- Commercial experience with complex enterprise account cycles, multi-stakeholder negotiations, multi-year agreements, procurement processes, and value-based conversations.
