Responsibilities

As a Service Delivery Consultant, you will help customers solve complex business and technology challenges through the design, deployment, integration and migration to cloud platforms including VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), Microsoft Azure Local, Redhat and open source solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor and technical leader, you will deliver secure, resilient, and scalable platforms across enterprise and defence environments, including remote and operationally sensitive deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops, technical assessments, and solution design activities for Cloud Platforms and infrastructure projects using Dell hardware.
• Design, deploy, integrate and migrate to Cloud platforms, including lifecycle management, upgrades, automation, and integration with supporting services.
• Provide Level 3 support across virtualisation, operating systems, identity services, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Develop solution documentation, implementation plans, test procedures, runbooks, and operational handover materials.
• Present recommendations, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and collaborate with customer and delivery stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Essential Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in consulting, cloud infrastructure, virtualization, or enterprise infrastructure engineering.
• Experience with enterprise scale migration projects
• Strong expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation, vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria Automation, and associated VMware technologies.
• Expertise with at least one alternative cloud platform to VCF – Redhat, Azure Local, Nutanix etc.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux (RHEL), Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, PKI, and backup/recovery solutions.
• Proven analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering complex, mission-critical infrastructure solutions in secure or highly available environments.
• Must have an active NV1

Desirable Requirements

• VMware certifications (VCP-DCV, VCP-NV) and VMware Cloud Foundation implementation experience.
• Defence, government, or other secure-environment experience.
