Job Description Summary

Performs a broad range of clinical and administrative medical assistant duties that support efficient patient care, accurate documentation, and effective clinic operations. Works with the care team to room patients, support exams and procedures, complete assigned orders and follow-up tasks, and maintain readiness of clinical spaces. Performs assigned work within scope of practice and under the direct supervision of a physician or other licensed provider. Medical Assistant II works independently on routine assignments and moderately complex tasks under general supervision. Decisions impact own work and recurring care team deliverables within established protocols. Applies working knowledge of medical assisting, patient care support, clinic workflows, and electronic documentation.

How will you make an impact & Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, review medication and history information, and prepare patients for exams or procedures. • Assist physicians and other licensed providers with exams, procedures, treatments, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and other assigned clinical activities. • Complete assigned patient follow-up tasks, including patient communication, documentation updates, order preparation, and care team coordination within established protocols. • Support medication, vaccine, and supply workflows by preparing materials, checking inventory, documenting use, and escalating issues according to site procedures. • Identify gaps in documentation, visit preparation, or patient information and resolve routine issues to support accurate and timely care delivery. • Maintain exam rooms, equipment, instruments, and clinical supplies in a safe, clean, and ready condition. • Support onboarding or daily guidance for less experienced medical assistants by answering routine workflow questions and modeling standard practices. QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 years of medical assistant, patient care support, or ambulatory clinical experience. • Working knowledge of ambulatory care workflows, patient rooming, clinical documentation, infection control, specimen handling, and point-of-care testing. • Experience using electronic health record systems, clinical equipment, scheduling or tasking tools, and standard office technology. • Basic Life Support certification preferred • Strong patient service, prioritization, communication, and teamwork skills with the ability to manage recurring clinical support work independently

Compensation Range:

$20.00

to

$30.00

The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs.
