Job Description

Cost Accountant:

Make a direct impact on manufacturing performance by ensuring production costs are accurately reflected in financial results and providing insights that support operational decision-making

## Your role:

• Analyze and monitor production costs, providing insights that support effective financial and operational decision-making.
• Review the financial performance of production orders and evaluate standard versus actual costs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to month-end close activities, including financial reviews and cost-related reclassifications, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Partner with Production Managers, plant supervisors and coordinators, manufacturing teams in Costa Rica to maintain accurate financial records and support business objectives.
• Support new product cost estimates, assess the financial impact of process or product changes, and track cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvement projects.

## You're the right fit if:

• You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in Cost Accounting within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Your skills include cost accounting, financial analysis of manufacturing operations, standard and actual cost analysis, financial close processes, and SAP.
• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or an equivalent field.
• You have intermediate English proficiency (written and oral).
• You’re a collaborative professional who can effectively partner with cross-functional teams across Finance and Manufacturing.
