Job Summary:**
Primoris Services Corporation is seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Foreman for Power and Delivery projects. This role involves overseeing and coordinating all field operations for power distribution and transmission line construction, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. The General Foreman will lead crews, manage resources, and maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
Job Responsibilities:**
- Direct and supervise all field crew activities for power and delivery projects, including overhead and underground distribution, transmission lines, and substation work.
- Ensure strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations. Conduct regular safety briefings and inspections.
- Plan, schedule, and assign work tasks to crews, optimizing resource allocation and project timelines.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Manage and procure materials, tools, and equipment necessary for project completion.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client specifications.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and other required documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve field-level construction problems as they arise.
Job Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in power line construction, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Extensive knowledge of overhead and underground power distribution, transmission, and related equipment and construction practices.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and work under pressure.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) for reporting and communication.
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications in electrical construction or safety are a plus.
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and travel to various project sites as required.
