PLC Technician

Job Title: PLC Technician

1st shift, 6am - 2pm

Starting hourly payrate $36.97 - $47.93 per hour

Role & Responsibilities:

· This position is located in a manufacturing plant.

· Responsibility for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancement of the plant’s process control and drive programs.

· Provide the programming for plant process control equipment.

· Assist with the development and implementation of new PLC technologies to drive continuous improvement.

· Collaborate with impacted stakeholders around needs, project status, etc.

· Support the plant’s networking and computer systems as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Certification or specialized education in process control is preferred.

· Demonstrated ability with the engineering, programming, and implementation of industrial control systems.

· Proven experience with control systems components, ladder logic programming, HMI programming and their applications.

· Aptitude for instrumentation and controls design.

· Well developed aptitude around MO computer applications, Project and AutoCAD.

· Ability to troubleshoot and install electrical circuits up to 480V.

· Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodology is a plus.

· Self-starter, with excellent organization skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.

· Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
