Lab Technician (1 year FTC)

This is a 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) position based at our Galaxis office in Singapore and requires onsite attendance five days per week.

As a Laboratory Technician, you’ll be the backbone of our lab operations—ensuring equipment is calibrated, tests are executed flawlessly, and compliance is always top-notch. Your responsibilities will span across:

Equipment Management

• Schedule and coordinate calibration and maintenance with minimal lab disruption
• Maintain accurate records and ensure all equipment meets safety and regulatory standards
• Keep the lab organized and inventory in optimal condition

Laboratory Operations

• Support lab amenity upkeep and test bench readiness
• Prepare for audit activities
• Manage procurement of lab supplies and chemical database updates

Contractor Administration

• Track and manage short-term contractor schedules and onboarding
• Ensure training records and timesheets are accurate and up to date
• Liaise with hiring agencies for contractor recruitment

Team Collaboration

• Assist Technical Officers and Engineers in routine testing
• Prepare jigs and samples, and document results with precision
• Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in laboratory operations or technical support roles
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Familiarity with regulatory and quality systems (ISO, GMP, etc.)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Proactive mindset with a passion for problem-solving
