At Lawrence Veterinary Clinic, we welcome a Veterinary Receptionist, Client Care to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will help create a welcoming experience for our clients and their pets by delivering exceptional service, compassionate care, and support to both our clients and the hospital team.
What You Will Do
##
- Creating a Warm Welcome: Greeting our patients and pet parents with empathy and care, ensuring they feel welcomed, supported, and appreciated from the moment they walk in.
- Managing Hospital Communication: Serving as our front-line voice by answering multi-line phones and managing client emails.
- Coordinating Appointments: Proactively booking visits, scheduling follow-ups, and making outbound calls to keep our patient care on track.
- Handling Financial Transactions: Guiding pet owners through the invoicing and billing process with clarity and compassion, confirming estimates, and processing payments.
- Maintaining a Comforting Space: Keeping our reception lobby and common areas clean, tidy, and welcoming for both pets and their families.
- Supporting Our Clinical Team: Assisting our veterinary staff with treatments and tasks while eagerly learning new medical office procedures and veterinary skills.
What You Bring
- Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting people at ease and creating a welcoming environment
- Strong organizational skills
- General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas
- Willingness to learn more regarding; veterinary services, updated medical office procedures and assist the Veterinary staff with various tasks and treatments
- Previous experience in animal clinics or hospitality is welcome.
