Job Description:

Summary:

Assist the Music Program Director and Faculty with a variety of administrative tasks. Assist with recruitment activities: answering emails concerning general questions about the Music Program; greeting and touring music facilities with prospective students; attend Preview Days. Inventory practice rooms and music studios and report needs and issues, such as equipment and piano maintenance.

Essential Functions:

  • Answer emails concerning general questions about the Music Program.
  • Greet and touring music facilities with prospective students.
  • Attend Preview Days.
  • Inventory practice rooms and music studios and report needs and issues, such as equipment and piano maintenance.
  • Other duties assigned.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Part-time.
  • 6 hours per week.

Salary Range:

  • $18.40 per hour.

Required Education and Exerience:

  • Current AU student with a Federal Work Study (FWS) award.
