Senior Technical Recruiter

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner in Resmed’s global Product & Technology Talent Acquisition team, you will lead complex hiring across software engineering, platform engineering, hardware engineering, and product management. You will connect exceptional technology talent with work that improves products and experiences for people living with sleep apnea, COPD, and other chronic conditions. From market mapping and proactive sourcing to stakeholder partnership and offer management, you will bring informed judgment, talent intelligence, and a clear point of view to every search.

This is a high-impact talent partnership role for someone ready to help advance Resmed’s technology transformation across AI and machine learning, software and platform engineering, and product development. The position is offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis, with the potential for longer-term opportunities.

Primary location: San Diego, CA.

What You'll Do

• Own the full recruitment lifecycle for complex technology and product roles, from role briefing and market mapping through candidate assessment, stakeholder alignment, and offer management.
• Advise hiring managers and People Business Partners using market intelligence, candidate landscape insights, compensation dynamics, and sourcing data to shape practical hiring strategies.
• Lead proactive sourcing and engagement for passive talent across software engineering, platform engineering, hardware engineering, and product management.
• Partner with executives and People Business Partners to deliver strategic senior leadership recruitment for Product & Technology Director and Senior Director roles.
• Build and sustain talent pipelines in critical capability areas, including AI and machine learning engineering, full-cycle and full-stack software engineering, and senior product management.
• Represent Resmed’s employee value proposition and technology transformation story clearly and authentically to candidates.
• Apply data, sourcing analytics, talent intelligence, and AI tools to improve efficiency and strengthen talent acquisition service delivery.
• Contribute to a global Talent Acquisition team focused on advancing its strategy, evolving the function, and supporting talent as a key business priority.

What You Bring

• At least five years of technology recruiting experience across software engineering, hardware engineering, and/or technology product management within an enterprise technology or high-tech environment.
• Strong working knowledge of US West Coast technology talent markets, particularly San Diego.
• Clear understanding of software and platform engineering talent landscapes, including compensation dynamics and sourcing approaches.
• Advanced direct sourcing and passive talent engagement capability, including market mapping, dynamic search techniques, talent intelligence tools, and informed outreach.
• Experience partnering with senior Product and Engineering leaders and People Business Partners in fast-paced, transformation-driven organizations.
• Ability to set direction on a search and operate with autonomy throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Nice to have

• Experience recruiting senior leaders using executive search and selection techniques.
• A degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or a technology-related discipline, or equivalent specialist recruiting experience.
• Experience applying technical assessment frameworks in engineering and product hiring, plus established networks in Singapore and/or Sydney technology markets.
