Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Revenue & Compliance team at Marsh. This is an eight-month fixed-term position based in Urbandale and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of six days per month in the office
As an Invoice Compliance Analyst, you will combine technical rigor with cross-functional collaboration, auditing revenue documentation, partnering with internal teams to resolve discrepancies, and driving process improvements. Your work will have visibility across the organization, with opportunities to present findings to leadership and mentor junior colleagues along the way.
We will count on you to:
- Audit revenue documentation and reconcile client records to ensure compliance with corporate policies, carrier agreements, SOX, SSAE16, tax regulations, and US/local GAAP
- Collaborate with the internal business partners to acquire/update missing or inaccurate documentation to complete audit
- Prepare or analyze accounting reports and consolidated statements to reconcile the revenue for client records, presenting findings to client teams and senior managers as needed
- Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of internal accounting policies and onshore/offshore team transitions; may include process improvements for revenue review and invoicing functions
- Review and guide the work of junior accountants and offshore staff
- Provide functional advice and training to colleagues and client teams as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field; an Associate’s degree combined with 2–3 years of relevant experience will also be considered.
- 1-2 years of experience in reconciliations and compliance reviews, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on time in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
