Sr. Construction Project Manager Overview
The Facilities Management group in the Bank's 12th District is seeking a Sr. Construction Project Manager to join its Construction Management team. This team is responsible for enhancing building infrastructure, creating innovative office-space environments, and executing specialized projects requested by customers. The position focuses on effectively managing multiple projects through design and construction activities at a Federal Reserve Bank Branch building.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
The Sr. Construction Project Manager leads projects that maintain infrastructure and develop spaces to improve employee engagement, office functionality, and specialized operational areas. The role requires proficiency in construction management and familiarity with systems such as air compressors, dedicated HVAC units, and other infrastructure components. Projects may be carried out during both daytime and nighttime, often in highly restricted zones, and must comply with strict auditing guidelines.

Key Duties
- Clearly develop and communicate the scope of work to end-users, partners, and vendors
- Assist in preparing and managing project budgets, including handling change requests and amendments
- Work with the Procurement Department to select professional consultants and contractors by preparing bid instructions, hosting bid walks, responding to bidder inquiries, and analyzing bids
- Implement established building standards by selecting appropriate fixtures, finishes, and furnishings
- Lead reviews of drawings and specifications with end-users and partner representatives
- Use knowledge of project sequencing to develop and oversee project schedules
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies as needed
- Provide regular communication and status updates to the facility team and stakeholders regarding project progress
- Coordinate the design process and construction activities, including managing vendor building access
- Facilitate collaboration with the project team to refine designs and address construction challenges
- Inspect and assess construction progress to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications
- Anticipate possible construction disruptions and develop plans to minimize impacts on building occupants
- Oversee all financial aspects of the project including budgeting, contracts, invoicing, and change orders
- Perform other duties as assigned

Desired Experience and Traits
- Possesses a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent work experience in Construction Project Management
- Has at least eight years of relevant experience in the construction field
- Typically, at least five years’ experience in Project Management and/or Construction Management
- Can read and interpret floor plans, design documents, and complex construction documents

Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in Bluebeam, Asana, and Procore software
- Experienced in designing or working with compressed air systems, shred takeaways, MEP, and security equipment
Base Salary Range: $145,000 – 180,000 (Location: San Francisco)
Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
