The expected salary for this position: 9600 - 16000 PLN
Please note that this role is offered as a replacement contract for approximately one year.
We are looking for you if:
- You have a minimum 3 years’ experience and understanding of compliance monitoring, testing and/or internal audit methodologies ideally in financial services environment,
- You can demonstrate experience of reviewing specific non-financial risks area according to monitoring / testing / audit plan. You are able to take ownership over particular location(s) and liaise with senior stakeholders.
- You are a self-starter and have hands-on mentality with a focus on high quality results while meeting agreed timelines. Good planning, prioritizing and goal setting skills.
- You have the ability to deal with the business with confidence and with the strength of character and tenacity to raise and follow up concerns.
- You have the ability to clearly express ideas, facts and opinions and are able to express them fluently both in speaking and writing, supported by appropriate tools.
- You are a team player with strong sense of responsibility and proactiveness in working with all counterparties and able to communicate across various levels within the organization.
- You have the ability to gain support for ideas and solutions relying on persuasion rather than authority in order to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
You'll get extra points for:
- Experience in banking industry, supervision over financial institutions, internal/external audit or compliance testing background.
- Knowledge about EU-wide regulations such as MiFID, MAR/MAD, GDPR, DAC6, AMLD etc.
- Project management experience
Your responsibilities:
- Execution of thematic/ process reviews either focusing on a specific framework or processes within Wholesale Banking division.
- Communicate clearly and actively findings resulting from the review or other monitoring assignments with respective stakeholders.
- Performing planning activities to determine Compliance quality assurance priorities in close cooperation with the business.
- Liaise with the business in respect of the compliance monitoring programme.
- Perform other related tasks and responsibilities as agreed including playing an active role in Compliance CoE hub activities.

We are looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our Deep Dive & Diagnostics team in CoE Warsaw on STA. You will work along Compliance professionals ensuring sound and robust Compliance framework over Wholesale Banking divisions located in the EMEA region such as Switzerland, Slovakia, Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Ukraine, Czech Republic, France, Ireland, UK, UAE. Being an integral part of the Compliance organization, the team will work closely with our global compliance community. This is a unique and challenging opportunity for experienced professionals to join our team.
