VCA Pahle Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team!

Location: West Allis, WI Pay Range: $16.00–$18.50/hour, depending on experience and skill level

Schedule: M-F- 7a-4pm or 9a-6pm, rotating Saturday 7a-1pm

About VCA Pahle

Located in West Allis, Wisconsin, VCA Pahle Animal Hospital is a fast paced, established four-doctor general practice providing comprehensive veterinary care to pets in our community.

In addition to general medical and preventive care, our hospital offers boarding, doggy daycare, and professional grooming services, allowing us to support our patients and clients through many different stages of their pets’ lives.

Our team works closely together to create a welcoming environment for our clients while providing compassionate, high-quality care to their pets. We value teamwork, communication, reliability, and excellent client service, and we are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of our hospital team.

Why We Need You

As the face of VCA Pahle, the Client Service Representative plays an essential role in the client experience. From the first phone call to checkout at the end of an appointment, our CSRs help build and maintain the trust our clients place in our hospital.

Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting clients and patients and creating a welcoming first impression
  • Answering and managing incoming telephone calls
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms
  • Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients
  • Presenting and explaining fees and processing payments
  • Recommending and assisting clients with appropriate products, services, and prescriptions
  • Answering questions regarding hospital products and services
  • Providing general education regarding non-medical pet care, such as parasite prevention and basic animal husbandry
  • Maintaining accurate medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence
  • Communicating effectively with doctors, veterinary technicians, assistants, and other hospital team members
  • Helping maintain a clean, organized, and professional hospital environment, including the removal of animal waste when necessary

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Veterinary or medical customer service experience is preferred, but most importantly, we are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and their pets.

Strong communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and compassionate during challenging or emotional situations are important for success in this role.
