As a Hospital Protection Security Guard ( Qualified person) in a Hospital setting , physical ability and ability to De- escalate situation is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling and de-escalate situations in a Hospital environment.

Positions we are looking to Fill

P3: Sat/Sun 1930 to 0730 QP training

P4:: Saturday and Sunday 2330 to 0730 QP training

P5: Monday to Friday 2330 to 0730 QP training

Responsibilities for Hospital Protection Security Guard ( Qualified person)

• Conduct proactive patrols of designated areas to identify, assess, and address potential security risks and suspicious activities.
• Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of trained Security Guards to ensure effective security operations and exceptional service delivery.
• Verify identities, monitor visitor access, and enforce security protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Respond swiftly and professionally to security threats, emergencies, and incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken to protect people and property.
• Manage and respond to security codes, alarms, and emergency situations in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor, inspect, and ensure the proper operation of surveillance systems, alarms, access control systems, and security cameras.
• Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, documenting security events, investigations, and corrective actions taken.
• Respond promptly to alarm activations and conduct thorough on-site assessments to determine causes and implement necessary measures.
• Collaborate effectively with law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and other stakeholders during critical incidents and investigations.
• Maintain a strong security presence while delivering professional customer service and fostering a safe environment for staff, visitors, and clients

Qualifications for Hospital Protection Security Guard ( Qualified person)

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• First aid certification an asset is an assett or willing to obtain
• Use of Force is an asset or willing to obtain (We provide paid training )
• Ability to stand and walk entire shift
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
• Tactical experience (Asset)
• Customer service oriented
• Leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a stressful environment
