Employer description
Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.
We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.
We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.
If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.
About the Role:
We are looking for a tech-savvy People Operations Specialist to provide essential operational support to the Crusoe People Team. In this role, you’ll act as a key resource in maintaining our HRIS (Rippling/Workday) and ensuring our team’s data remains accurate and reliable. You will be the helpful first point of contact for employee inquiries, assisting with Tier 1 support needs and providing the day-to-day guidance our colleagues need. Much of your impact will come from assisting in the creation of SOPs and employee enablement resources, helping our team build a smoother, more accessible experience for everyone at Crusoe. If you enjoy supporting a high-performing team through clear documentation, organized data, and helpful employee service, we’d love to have your help.
This is a full-time position based in Dallas, TX.
What You'll Be Working On:
- HRIS & Data Management: Own routine HR transactions within Rippling, including processing worker change requests, promotions, and data updates with 100% accuracy.
- Tier 1 Support: Act as the first point of contact for the People Team, managing the HR ticketing system to address employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, and company policy.
- Pre-Employment Operations: Partner with our pre-employment programs team to monitor and report on operations for background checks and drug and alcohol testing.
- One-Time Payment Processes: Partner with Employee Success, Payroll, and Compensation to ensure smooth one-time payment processes (relocation, spot bonuses, etc.). Refine documentation, controls, and auditing that ensure accuracy and alignment across teams.
- Documentation & Enablement: Assist in the creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and employee enablement resources to ensure our internal processes are transparent and scalable.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Execute end-to-end onboarding and offboarding operations, including system access management, document collection, and exit process coordination.
- Process Improvement: Proactively identify "friction points" in the employee experience and suggest system or workflow enhancements to promote efficiency.
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in an HR role, ideally in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
- Technical Aptitude: Experience with Rippling, Workday, and Jira.
- Writing Skills: Proven ability to take complex processes and turn them into clear, easy-to-follow written documentation and SOPs.
- Customer Service Mindset: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to provide high-touch support to employees at all levels.
- Discretion: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with total tact and integrity.
- Organization: Able to manage a high volume of tickets and transactions without losing attention to detail.
Bonus Points
- High-Growth Tech Experience: Prior experience scaling HR operations in a rapidly growing technology company.
- Process Optimization: Background in creating or improving HR workflows, SOPs, or enablement materials.
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation and equity packages
- Restricted Stock Units
- Paid time off, paid holidays & leave of absence programs
- Comprehensive health, dental & vision insurance
- Employer contributions to HSA account
- Paid parental leave
- Paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability
- Professional development & tuition reimbursement
- Mental health & wellness support
- Commuter benefits (parking & transit)
- Cell phone stipend
- 401(k) Retirement plan with company match up to 4% of salary
- Volunteer time off
- Global travel insurance & emergency assistance
- Daily meals allowance
- Additional perks & programs specific to location
Compensation Range
Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $90,000 - $110,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
