Employer description
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation and growth drive everything we do. Our Product team defines how millions of people experience Deliveroo, turning complex marketplace challenges into simple, high-impact solutions.
Working at the intersection of data, design and engineering, we set direction, prioritise what matters most, and deliver outcomes that move the business forward.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our London team. In this role, you’ll lead initiatives within our Network Efficiency area, turning complex logistics challenges into competitive advantages that speed up deliveries and fuel global growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Network Efficiency team. We work at the heart of Deliveroo’s logistics engine, collaborating with Engineering, Analytics, Machine Learning and Operations Research to optimise real-time predictions and dispatch decisions across all our markets.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
- Design and ship new logistics capabilities that directly improve our customer, merchant and rider propositions.
- Lead prioritisation and trade-off decisions, navigating complex marketplace dynamics and escalating to senior leadership when required.
- Own product goals from inception to delivery, collaborating across disciplines to ensure we ship high-quality, high-impact solutions.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Finance, Legal, and Strategy & Operations teams globally to bring new features to market.
- Translate complex ambiguity into clear execution plans, ensuring the team remains focused on the highest-leverage opportunities.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:
- Proven ability to solve complex problems, with a knack for asking the right questions and translating ambiguity into actionable roadmaps.
- Significant experience being data-savvy and analytical; you can grasp technical concepts quickly and partner effectively with Machine Learning and Operations Research specialists.
- A systems-thinking mindset, with the ability to balance customer needs with commercial goals while considering second and third-order effects on the marketplace.
- Demonstrated ownership of high-velocity execution, maintaining a sharp eye for detail in an environment where impact is paramount.
- A growth mindset and the resilience to learn fast, adapt to failures, and keep moving forward.
