MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
In compliance with EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards, the Wayside Installation Supervisor oversees operational coordination of all project activities related to Site Works, including:
Prepare installation work and confirm readiness of installation execution (4M checklist) Train and support the Installation Workers and Sub-contractors on the working fronts under his/her responsibility, clarifying doubts and task priorities. Supervise execution of Wayside(AFC, PSD, TP) Systems Installation—trackside, onboard, within Data Centers. Ensure compliance of installation activities with D&IS Installation and FO Process Apply the Work Method Statement (WMS) / Installation procedures according design documentation, report on any deviation found or needed. Make sure the EHS requirements and special processes are clearly included in the WMS Report to the PrYM/PrSOM/PrFOM the field activities progress and any issue or founding in the execution, including non-conformities to communicate to Quality team Ensure the activities are carried out as per schedule, within the productivity required, in line with the quality standards Ensure and support the Handover process to T&C team / Customer Continuous improvement: Contribute to best practices definition and REX within the Product Line Ensure the strictly application of EHS rules by the installation workers (including Sub-contractors)
Performance measurements OTD (On Time Delivery) for site activities Quality, EHS, RSA (Railway Safety Agencies): monitoring, anticipation and reporting on progress and issues
Educational Requirements Mandatory: Technical High-School Diploma
Desirable: Certification on Railway Safety Certification on Site EHS management
Experience Requirements Mandatory: Strong experience on Railway similar projects Leading constructions teams from installation phase till handover Planning control experience in site management scope Strong experience on railway EHS management communication systems environments Desirable: Knowledgeable of Railway products and services on different market segments (Urban, Mainline, F&M) Knowledgeable of transversal railway construction activities (civil, infrastructure, catenary, etc…) Competencies & Skills: Quality and EHS-focused, rigorous, team-player Decision-making and problem-solving ability Resilience, with an analytic way of thinking in order to solve Field complex deviations and issues Strong leadership skills to manage multiple workers and suppliers
