SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Balouchi/Urdu Interpreters to be based at NSA Bahrain to support the NCIS Middle East Field Office (MEFO) Transnational Crimes Unit (TCU).

Essential Job Duties

• To provide linguist support for military operations and interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
• Conduct linguistic analysis and research on assigned projects.
• Translate and interpret documents, conversations, and audio recordings from the target language(s) to English and vice versa.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Active in scope Secret clearance.
• Familiarity with TCU's mission and operational requirements.
• Prior operational experience in Middle East, Africa, or CENTCOM AOR.
• Language Proficiency: ILR Level 3 in Balouch and Urdu.
• Certification: CAT II Certified Linguists.
• Residency: Must be physically located in Bahrain.
• Deployment Readiness: Must be able to deploy within hours of notification.

Operational & Physical Requirements

• Swimming Qualification: Department of Navy equivalent to a 3rd class swimmer (2nd class preferred).
• Training Capability:
• Must be able to complete US Coast Guard maritime vessel boarding training.
• Must be able to complete water survival training.

Additional Information

Work Environment

• Position may require travel on short notice to overseas locations for site assessments and surveys.
• Wearing of location appropriate attire and PPE when in the field is required.
