Job Description
As a Community Developer at Ubisoft Newcastle, you will help establish, grow, and support player communities around our games. You will lead the global community strategy for a specific brand, March of Giants, creating and executing plans with an international, distributed team. You will also help teams stay aligned through clear planning, strong feedback cycles, and consistent best practices, while building trust with players around the world.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute global community strategies that support Production objectives and the wider marketing strategy
- Grow existing player communities in line with business goals
- Coordinate community communications and initiatives with global teams to ensure consistent messaging
- Partner with Community Managers, transversal teams, and external partners to create player-facing content such as blogs, podcasts, interviews, and infographics
- Represent the brand as a community spokesperson and support community events such as studio visits, developer dialogues, and tournaments
- Collaborate with the portfolio Social Media Manager to define, track, and report content KPIs and community program impact
- Support key milestones such as betas and launches by helping teams meet KPIs and advocating for player experience needs
- Represent player needs within Production and Publishing teams to inform development and communications decisions
- Shape player feedback cycles and share insights that influence game improvements, player retention, and communication planning
- Coordinate with live teams on post-launch communications, including expectations for patch content, status, and delivery

Additional Information
- International travel may be required.
- This position will be part of multiple cross-functional projects, working with Community Managers, Marketing, Production, and Video Editor teams, among others.
