A growing and highly respected plaintiff-side personal injury law firm in the North Atlanta suburbs is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced litigator who enjoys owning cases, advocating for clients, and seeing matters through trial when necessary. What You'll Do as the Litigation Associate Attorney:
- Manage a caseload of litigated personal injury matters from filing through resolution or trial
- Develop litigation strategy while aggressively advocating for clients throughout the legal process
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, mediation briefs, and trial-related filings
- Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations
- Prepare and try cases when necessary to maximize client outcomes
- Analyze liability, damages, medical records, and case strategy throughout litigation
- Coordinate with experts, medical providers, investigators, and support staff
- Maintain consistent communication with clients while providing trusted legal guidance
- Build strong professional relationships with opposing counsel, judges, and court personnel
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on professionalism, accountability, and winning cases
Must-Haves as the Litigation Associate Attorney:
- Active Georgia Bar license in good standing
- 5+ years of personal injury or civil litigation experience
- Demonstrated courtroom, deposition, mediation, and trial experience
- Strong written advocacy and legal research skills
- Experience independently managing litigation files from inception through resolution
- Excellent communication, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
- Stable employment history with meaningful ownership of prior cases
- Strong work ethic and genuine passion for representing injured clients
Nice-to-Haves as the Litigation Associate Attorney:
- Plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience
- Medical malpractice or premises liability experience
- Prior experience with a District Attorney's Office, U.S. Attorney's Office, insurance defense firm, or established plaintiff firm
- Spanish or another second language
- Active involvement with Georgia legal organizations
- Existing courtroom experience throughout the greater Atlanta area
This Role Offers:
- Base salary of $145,000-$175,000 based on experience
- Exceptional case-based bonus program with realistic total compensation potential of $300,000+
