Site Escort

Delan Associates is seeking Site Escorts with active DOE "Q" or "L" clearance to support a plant site in Piketon, OH.

Disclaimer: This position is contingent upon contract award. Interviews and preliminary candidate screenings are currently underway to identify key personnel for an upcoming project.

The anticipated start date is mid-October 2026, subject to contract award.

Q/L Escort Job Duties Escort personnel shall:

• Maintain continuous positive control of assigned individuals;
• Maintain uninterrupted visual observation of escorted personnel;
• Prevent unauthorized movement beyond approved work areas;
• Verify proper badge display before entry into security-controlled areas;
• Ensure escorted personnel comply with site security procedures;
• Maintain communication with the Site Security Organization;
• Immediately notify the Site Security Organization when conditions exist that may require work to be suspended in order to maintain security compliance;
• Challenge unauthorized activities in accordance with site procedures;
• Escort personnel from designated security-controlled areas upon completion of assigned work.

Maintain a Q/L Clearance Must be cognizant of continuous site changes to ensure knowledge of escorting requirements are maintained throughout the project. When transferring Escort duties ensure that the new escort has knowledge of the individual’s security plan when applicable. Always maintain and wear required escort tag while performing escorting duties. Escorts may receive additional training depending on the areas work is performed. Escort personnel shall remain attentive at all times and shall not perform construction, maintenance, inspection, or administrative duties unrelated to escort responsibilities. Reporting Requirements The escort shall immediately notify Security of any actual or suspected:

• Loss of positive escort control;
• Unauthorized access attempts;
• Security Violations;
• Suspicious activity;
• Discovery of prohibited items;
• Personnel misconduct.

Authority of Escort Personnel Escort personnel are authorized to immediately suspend movement of escorted individuals whenever positive control cannot be maintained or a potential security violation exists. Escort personnel shall immediately notify the Site Security Organization of any security concern. Escort personnel shall not authorize access, waive security requirements, or deviate from established site security procedures.
