Job Description
Role Description:
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects related to industrial service equipment
installations, focusing on overhead cranes and hoists. This role requires strong technical expertise,
project management skills, and collaboration with customers, contractors, and internal teams to deliver
projects safely, on time, within budget, and according to Konecranes’ quality standards.
Key Tasks :
- Plan, monitor, and manage crane and hoist installation, modernization, and service projects from
initiation to completion.
- Prepare project schedules, resource plans, and budgets, ensuring adherence to contract terms.
- Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to secure timely delivery of materials and
services.
- Provide technical support in crane and hoist installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and Konecranes quality requirements.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers during project execution.
- Attend to site meeting
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure feasibility and accuracy.
- Conduct site visits, risk assessments, and progress meetings to maintain clear communication and trust with stakeholders.
- Provide professional guidance and technical recommendations to optimize customer lifting solutions.
- Ensure all projects are executed in strict compliance with local safety regulations, ISO standards, and Konecranes’ EHS policies.
- Promote a strong safety culture and monitor site safety performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
- Support the development of standardized procedures and best practices within the Project Engineering
team
- Inform sales and business controller to trigger relevant billing according to contractual billing plan at
predetermined stages throughout the project.
- Assist technical administration executive in gathering & reviewing relevant documents for submission
to DOSH for design approval and load test.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager.
Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 standard
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any related field
- Have 1 to 2 years' experience in same field preferable. Fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome.
- Candidate with certifications such as CIDB, OGSP or an equivalent certification (added advantage).
Additional Information
- Have experience in Siebel & SAP system will be advantage.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards
