Senior Technician - CEST

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Job Responsbilities:

• Set up, implement, and maintain the SPC (Statistical Process Control) system.
• Manage and maintain the DV Master Inventory system and master units.
• Perform test software qualification for tester control-related changes.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot tester control and SPC system issues.
• Set up SPC test systems for new products and tester configurations.
• Monitor SPC data and perform periodic reviews to optimize system performance.
• Support test software debugging with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct tester control evaluations, design of experiments (DOE), and implement improvements.
• Assist engineers with special evaluations, technical analysis, and improvement projects.
• Manage, assign, and monitor engineering operators within the team.
• Provide SPC system training to relevant departments when required.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, ESD, Cleanroom, Housekeeping, ISO, and company requirements.
• Revise DV duration when necessary and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Stop tester operations when safety, quality, or tester control requirements are not met.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and apply risk-based thinking in daily tasks.
• Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Minimum: Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering, Science or related field

Experience:

Minimum 1 year experience in mass production environment, preferably in Test Engineering or related industry. Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning, etc.

Special Skills:

• With good computer literacy, good communication skill and reporting of information/data
• Experience in tester or equipment configuring, troubleshooting and verification
• With basic knowledge in SPC
• Able to identify and implement process improvements while adhering to standards and raising expectations
