Drive the end-to-end delivery of enterprise-class, scalable, and resilient data platforms as a Senior Product Delivery Associate on our Data Platforms team. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Delivery Associate to join our Data Platforms team, where you will be a data champion who partners with business analysts, engineering, and architecture teams to turn requirements into delivered outcomes across the full development lifecycle.
As a Senior Product Delivery Associate in Data Platforms team, you are trusted with enabling the delivery of products in a stable and scalable way. Work with cross-function teams, build key relationships, and enable the product to continuously deliver value. You work closely with the Product Manager and engineering leads to deliver enterprise-class, scalable, and resilient data platforms, with a focus on user-consumption services that support batch, asynchronous, and near-real-time processing. You own the product backlog and delivery plan, coordinate cross-functional dependencies, and ensure features are delivered with quality, on schedule, and aligned to business value.
Job responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Product Delivery Manager to execute on key delivery tasks and identify ways to boost efficiencies
- Supports the completion of change management activities across functional partners and monitors adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements
- Raises blockers and other impediments to the Product Delivery Manager to manage dependencies and ensure adequate resources
- Own and drive the product delivery lifecycle – from intake and backlog refinement through release – ensuring predictable, high-quality delivery of data platform capabilities.
- Partner with users and the analyst community to understand business data usage, identify improvement opportunities, and translate needs into a clearly prioritized, well-groomed backlog.
- Influence product strategy and priorities using technical expertise and data-driven insight, and champion intellectual curiosity in solving complex business problems. Define features and capabilities for future user-consumption services, balancing disparate business needs with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and client-engagement skills.
- Translate business needs into clear, valuable user stories and acceptance criteria, and adapt quickly to evolving guidance while protecting product objectives and delivery commitments.
- Serve as the liaison between product, engineering, and architecture teams – facilitating agile ceremonies, resolving blockers, and managing cross-team dependencies and delivery risks. Collaborate with engineering teams to build scalable and resilient data warehouses across cloud analytic environments, leveraging internal resources and platforms to deliver optimal solutions.
- Validate delivered features against business requirements through testing, and develop and maintain documentation that ensures data consistency, quality, and operational readiness. Track and communicate delivery metrics, status, and outcomes (for example, OKRs and KPIs) to stakeholders and leadership.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Demonstrated performance in either product management or relevant domain area
- Experience executing operational management and change readiness activities
- Experience in product deployment processes
- 3+ years of experience in product delivery, product ownership, or a related technology delivery role, with a strong technology background and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Educational or on-the-job experience in a technical field (for example, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering). Demonstrated experience owning and refining a product backlog and driving delivery through agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe)..
- Solid working knowledge of SQL, Python, and other data engineering tools, with familiarity in data modeling, dimensional models, and semantic layers. Proven ability to manage cross-team dependencies, delivery risks, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility, creativity, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of data platform technologies, including Snowflake, AWS Data Lake, and Info1. Experience delivering cloud-based data platforms or user-consumption / data-as-a-service capabilities at enterprise scale.
- Relevant certification such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), or Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent experience. Experience partnering with data analyst communities and translating analytical needs into platform capabilities.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Developed knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Familiarity with agentic AI and generative AI tools, with an interest in applying them to accelerate product delivery, automate workflows, and enhance data platform capabilities.
- Familiarity with agile delivery tooling (for example, Jira and JIRA Align) and product analytics.
