Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based systems and infrastructure. This role ensures that cloud environments are secure, scalable, cost-efficient, and highly available, enabling organizations to leverage cloud technologies effectively. Cloud Engineers collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to deliver optimal cloud solutions.
What you’ll do
- Design & Deploy Cloud Solutions: Architect and implement cloud-based systems using platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Infrastructure Automation: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) to automate provisioning and management.
- Cloud Security: Implement and maintain security measures, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance controls.
- Migration: Plan and execute migration of on-premises applications and data to cloud environments.
- Performance Optimization: Configure auto-scaling, load balancing, and monitor resource usage for cost efficiency.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines for cloud deployments.
- Disaster Recovery: Establish backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, providing support to development teams.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and processes.
What you’ll need
- Total Experience should be more than 10 years
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Expertise in Azure
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of networking, security principles, and cloud monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of on prem infrastructure.
- Relevant certifications (, Azure Administrator, etc.) preferred.
