Job Description
This position is responsible for producing and packaging finished silica gel products per customer specifications from incoming raw materials. Operate the process in compliance with all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor the process through manual and/or automated control panel adjustments
- Make necessary adjustments (physical and mathematical) to the process to maintain quality product and output.
- Perform lab testing for in-process and finished products
- Document all test results, process parameters and adjustments and environmental regulatory requirements
- Perform all packaging requirements including filling, palletizing and warehousing of finished product.
- Operation of forktruck to include loading and unloading of trucks.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations and requirements.
- Comply with company policies and site work rules.
- Perform needed housekeeping functions
- Complete environmental data gathering, as needed
- Other duties as assigned or required.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent. Basic mathematical abilities and skills.

- Ability to work 12 hour/rotating shifts (monthly)

- Ability to lift 50 lbs
