The Mobility HR Coordinator serves as the administrative foundation of the HR team, supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. This role partners closely with the Mobility HR Manager to deliver a positive employee experience while ensuring HR processes are accurate, organized, and compliant.
A Day in the Life:
As a Mobility HR Coordinator, you'll support candidates, employees, and leaders throughout the employee lifecycle. Your day may include coordinating onboarding activities, maintaining employee records, answering HR inquiries, and tracking compliance requirements. You'll play a key role in keeping HR operations running smoothly while helping create a positive and engaging workplace culture.
The salary range for this position is $24-28/hr.
What You'll Do:
- Provide day-to-day HR administrative support to the Mobility HR Manager and the market operations team, including data entry, HRIS maintenance, employee file management, and audit-ready recordkeeping.
- Own and execute market-specific compliance program administration required to operate in each jurisdiction.
- Serve as the market's process owner for jurisdiction-specific regulatory workflows, ensuring timelines, documentation, employee communications, and vendor coordination are executed accurately and on time.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and Operations leadership to support recruiting activities, including attending and staffing job fairs, community hiring events, and pop-up hiring events as needed.
- Support the full TA lifecycle at the market level, including scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate communications, preparing offer materials, and helping ensure a seamless candidate experience.
- Assist with new hire administrative onboarding activities in partnership with the Mobility Training Coordinator, ensuring documentation, systems access, and required forms are completed.
- Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, benefits basics, timekeeping, and general HR processes, escalating complex issues to the Mobility HR Manager as appropriate.
- Maintain and update local trackers, dashboards, and reports used by the HR Manager to monitor market health, compliance status, and workforce metrics.
- Support employee engagement, recognition, and communication activities in the market, including coordinating events, distributing materials, and posting required workplace notices.
- Complete other administrative duties as assigned by the Mobility HR Manager to support the market's evolving needs.
What We're Looking For:
- 1-3 years' experience in Human Resources, administrative support, or a customer-facing coordination role.
- Associate or bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent HR/administrative experience.
- aPHR/PHR certification a plus.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms (Oracle HCM, Workday, or similar) and applicant tracking systems (Fountain or similar).
- Working knowledge of general employment practices and interest in learning federal, state, and local employment requirements.
- Strong organization, time management, prioritization, and follow-through skills; ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and comfort interacting with candidates, employees, and leaders in-person and virtually.
- Flexible and adaptable; ability to work effectively in ambiguous, high-growth startup environments.
- Ability to travel locally within the market for job fairs, site visits, and hiring events; some evening/weekend availability for events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
