What you will do

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of US GAAP, Local GAAP, and Tax reporting activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.
• Assist with Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounting processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities in compliance with corporate policies, SOX requirements, and internal controls.
• Prepare and maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving outstanding items.
• Support the preparation of IFRS cash flow statements and reconciliation of local and corporate financial reporting.
• Assist internal and external auditors by providing required documentation and supporting schedules.
• Contribute to process improvement and standardization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, IFRS/US GAAP requirements, and internal control standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Basic to intermediate English proficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP.
• Understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Experience & Skills

Required

• 0 to 2 years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Shared Services, or related areas.
• Knowledge of general accounting processes and financial statements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience in a multinational company, Shared Service Center, BPO, or audit firm.
• Exposure to SOX compliance and internal controls.
• Knowledge of local tax and accounting regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
