As an Environmental Specialist II, III, or IV (Air Permitting), you will support compliance with federal, state, and local air quality regulations across Williams operations. Depending on experience and job level, you will review proposed equipment and operational changes, manage air permits, oversee emissions testing programs, gather operational data, and prepare regulatory reports. You will interpret evolving air quality regulations, provide guidance to operations and engineering teams, conduct site inspections and training, and support environmental initiatives that promote compliance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities/Expectations
- Develop, maintain, and provide guidance on environmental policies, compliance programs, and regulatory requirements
- Assess environmental risks and implement appropriate corrective actions, including required regulatory documentation
- Prepare and submit permits, renewals, regulatory reports, certifications, emissions inventories, and other compliance documentation
- Collect and analyze operational and emissions data; manage emissions testing activities and related contractor relationships
- Support or lead environmental projects, audits, site inspections, due diligence investigations, and training initiatives
- Interpret federal, state, and local air regulations and ensure ongoing compliance across assigned operations
- Identify and implement improvements to environmental systems, processes, and compliance performance
- Build strong relationships with regulatory agencies and business partners while providing technical guidance and mentorship appropriate to job level
- Other duties as assigned

Education/Years of Experience
Required: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field and:
- Environmental Specialist II: Minimum two (2) years of environmental experience
- Environmental Specialist III: Minimum four (4) years of environmental experience
- Environmental Specialist IV: Minimum eight (8) years of environmental experience

Other Requirements
- Demonstrates safety as the utmost priority
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and PC software
- Ability to interpret environmental regulations and apply requirements to operational activities

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with air permitting, emissions reporting, stack testing, and environmental compliance programs
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local air quality regulations, including Clean Air Act requirements
- Experience collaborating with operations, engineering teams, regulatory agencies, and environmental consultants
