Employer description
FreeBalance is seeking a Content & Communications Specialist who is responsible for developing clear, compelling, and consistent messaging across all FreeBalance communications. This role translates complex public financial management (PFM) concepts into accessible content that supports brand positioning, thought leadership, and sales engagement.
This role also leads messaging alignment, internal communications, and content-driven support for campaigns and events.

Main Responsibilities:
Content Development & Sales Support
- Write and develop high-quality content including case studies, whitepapers, presentations, brochures, and website copy
- Create and adapt regional sales and marketing collateral aligned to global messaging
- Translate technical and policy-heavy material into clear, engaging narratives
Messaging & Positioning
- Work with the corporate marketing team to ensure alignment on core messaging and positioning
- Ensure consistency of tone, voice, and narrative across all materials
- Support brand messaging and storytelling across regions
Thought Leadership & Campaign Content
- Develop content aligned to GovTech, digital transformation, and public financial management
- Draft social media content (primarily LinkedIn) aligned to campaigns
Internal Communications
- Support internal communications strategy, including newsletters and executive messaging
- Ensure clarity and consistency across internal communications
Event Content & Support
- Develop event-related content (presentations, speaking notes, collateral)
- Support messaging for events, media engagement, and announcements
Editorial & Brand Governance
- Ensure proper use of FreeBalance brand, messaging, and assets
- proofread and edit content across the organization
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years in content marketing, communications, or journalism
- Exceptional writing and editing skills (native or near-native English)
- Experience developing sales and marketing collateral
- Ability to simplify complex subject matter
- Strong attention to detail and editorial judgment
- Experience in B2B, public sector, or technology environments preferred
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite), and AI-assisted writing tools
