What is the Opportunity?
We are seeking an experienced Electrical General Foreman to lead and coordinate day-to-day electrical field operations on the Samsung Semiconductor project in Taylor, Texas. This role serves as the primary link between supervision and craft labor, ensuring safety, productivity, quality, and schedule compliance across multiple crews.
What You'll Do Here:
- Supervise and coordinate multiple electrical foremen and crews.
- Plan, schedule, and execute daily and weekly work activities.
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, NEC, and site standards.
- Coordinate manpower, tools, equipment, and material needs.
- Interface with superintendents, project management, and other trades.
- Enforce site safety policies and conduct daily toolbox talks.
- Monitor productivity and address performance or manpower issues.
- Review drawings, layouts, and work plans to identify conflicts or constructability issues.
- Support inspections, testing, and turnover activities.
- Maintain daily reports, progress tracking, and manpower logs.
What You Bring to the Team:
- 7–10+ years of electrical construction experience.
- Prior experience as a General Foreman or Lead Foreman on large commercial or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including:
- Conduit and cable tray systems.
- Power distribution and equipment installation.
- Grounding and bonding.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- OSHA 30 (or ability to obtain).
- Must be able to provide a valid Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation (TDLR) number upon acceptance.
