The Opportunity
As the Head of Product Biometrics, you will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of high-impact technology solutions that accelerate the delivery of life-changing diagnostics and medicines. This is an IT Management role that will bridge the gap between complex scientific needs and technical execution, defining the vision and roadmap for our core analytical data pipelines.
The biometrics team provides the core analytical capabilities and data pipelines for clinical development. The team delivers the technology solutions required for statistical analysis, aggregation, and data preparation for regulatory reporting of primary clinical trial data, but also for driving the acquisition and curation of data from Case Report Forms (CRFs) and Real-World Data (RWD). The solutions enable the development of advanced analytics models to support product development decisions.
Your mission is to lead this multidisciplinary global team in building scalable and compliant AI-integrated products that transform this critical pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the long-term product roadmap and financial objectives.
- Proactively integrate AI/ML capabilities and track KPIs to ensure alignment with business outcomes.
- Oversee the end-to-end portfolio, identifying innovation opportunities and managing the evolution of complex products from ideation to retirement.
- Architect a seamless user experience for internal scientists and clinicians by anticipating market shifts and emerging technology trends.
- Act as a strategic liaison between business functions and R&D.
- Manage a complex ecosystem of internal teams, SaaS vendors, and academic partners.
- Drive a culture of data-informed decision-making, continuous learning, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop multi-year forecasts and strategically allocate resources to maximize portfolio ROI.
- Coach and mentor product managers and engineers.
Who You Are
- Advanced degree (Master/PhD) in a Science or Technology discipline; PhD preferred.
- 10+ years in Product Management or Business Analysis, with at least 4 years in Pharma/Biotech Biometrics domain and 4+ years in a leadership role managing interdisciplinary teamsinterdisciplinarytechnical teams.
- Deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle, GxP compliance, FAIR data principles, and data privacy (GDPR).
- Fluency in modern software architecture (APIs, Cloud, Microservices) and a solid grasp of Data Science and AI/ML concepts.
- Exceptional ability to influence senior leadership and align diverse groups (scientists, engineers, and executives) toward a unified goal.
- Experience leading technical teams (engineers and product managers).
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Boston, MA is $182,600 - $339,200. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
