Our platform automates the manual work of collecting and reconciling invoices so finance teams can scale credit and collections teams without adding headcount. Our customers trust Daylit to deliver a complete view of portfolio health — surfacing at-risk accounts, predicting payment timing, and powering accurate cash flow forecasts. Companies with high invoice volume use Daylit to reduce DSO, eliminate repetitive work, and know exactly when cash will hit the bank.

The Role

We are looking for a Full Stack AI Engineer Co-op to help design and scale our AI-powered finance products. You’ll work closely with engineering and product teams to build new features, optimize APIs, and support machine learning workflows. This is a hands-on opportunity to develop in both backend and frontend systems within a high-growth fintech startup.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and enhance full-stack applications (Python/Django, React).
• Collaborate on AI-driven financial tools and APIs.
• Contribute to database optimization and performance tuning.
• Participate in code reviews and agile sprint planning.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with Python and JavaScript (React preferred).
• Familiarity with SQL and backend frameworks.
• Interest in AI, fintech, and applied data science.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
