Setting Out Engineer

Job Description

One of our RC Frame contractor is seeking experienced Site Engineer/ setting our Engineer to work on Building project in Bath. The Site/ Setting out Engineer role is to start on Monday (21/01/2019), are ongoing contract and will include a mixture of basement and reinforced concrete works. The length of the project initially for 20 weeks.

As the Site / Setting out Engineer you will be responsible for:

• Accurate setting out/surveying
• Conduct quality control checks and build records
• Assist senior engineer in ensuring all operations are carried out safely
• Assist in the supervising of sub - contractors on site

Requirements:

To be successful in this role you need to be:

• CSCS card is required
• Previously worked as a Setting out Engineer, Site Engineer, or Engineering Surveyor.
• Experienced in RC work (specially basement construction) and Ground work- min 2 years UK experience.
• Must be proficient with TSO 6+ surveying instruments, be familiar with method statements and risk assessments and have a sound knowledge of QA and onsite paperwork.
